Meet Molly's Animals: Deer & Elk
My rather fantastic mother runs a non profit wildlife rescue in Idaho called Mystic Farm. She takes in ungulates (moose, deer, elk, antelope, etc) and eventually soft releases them back into the wild. They are usually orphans or injured babies, and she has had a 100% success rate. In the summertime she is usually overrun with babies, and this gives me plenty of photo fodder. Here are some of her charges I have photographed over the years.
The lovely lady pictured in these photographs is my wonderful mother.
